For integrity's sake the disparaging on this topic originated with Scratch. But integrity...well...whatever.

The gall of anyone who would have the temerity to do so. Dan afterall thought thecafeteria was built as his private playground, where he'd be king s***, where he could not be questioned.

Well, Dan's s*** seeped out.

I think Dan thought he could freely post comments and questions over there without having people conjuring up poor sets of intentions attributed to his posts, and without some posters questioning his mental state contriving easily composed pot shots at him sparking a relative slew of ganger-uppers (which incidentally included our own gramps).

It appears Dan thought he could "save" the NOMs, bring them back into the fold as TBMs, if he could explain "the marvelous work and a wonder" without critics there to counter his BS. But, it was not to be. Even without critics there, Dan grew weary. His triumph eluded him.
