A Meltdown of Epic Proportions
Re: A Meltdown of Epic Proportions
In a prior post directed to Chap, on page 19 of this epic thread, I made the following comment...but I think it is worth repeating:
I created The Cafeteria as simply a gathering place for friends...my friends...who have some common interests. That is really all there is to it. It has been blown up into some huge conspiracy. That is the last thing I wanted to happen. That was the main reason I had not publicized it, and why it was privatized to begin with. Don't forget. We were quietly going about our business, in our own little corner of the Internet...on a URL that is purposefully not easily searchable. Had Scratch not publicized my site to begin with...NONE of this would have ever happened.

Correction. Had someone to whom you extended a friendly and private invitation, not chosen to share Cafeteria content with Scratch, none of this would have ever happened.

Was it to be free from personal attacks?
Was Dan in violation by from the 'private' confines of it launching an attack on Dr Scratch?
ETA: liz, the reason for your board keeps shifting. Here you say it is just your friends, but here you said it was because NOMs have it harder than TBMs or non-believers.

Liz,
I don't really have a dog in this race, but I would like to make a couple of observations about your board.
I just looked at your board for the first time and noticed that you had posted some pretty derogatory statements about me. You also posted that you had read some of my PMs to Ray Agnostini and that they were disgusting.
While I won't go into the details of my PMs with Ray (unlike you), suffice it to say that there are two sides to this story. I will say that I am concerned that you, a Moderator on this board, would use her influence to post about my PMs on "The Cafeteria". IMHO, totally unprofessional and in violation of several rules.
Again, just my 2 cents and I really don't expect this post to have any affect on your behavior Liz, as I already know, from reading your posts, how you feel about me. I just wanted to get this off my chest. Thanks, and carry on.

I'm sorry, but taking advice from a Jersey Girl is akin to watching Jersey Shore and taking life lessons from it. She's in cahoots with Dream Team Liz.
It's the Internet hydra. PM away Liz "Dream Team" 3452345234! I'm sure your nasty, back stabbing, shit-stirring ways will be forgot by all!
Once again. I'm not the one who is a Moderator, who creates another board to shit-talk this board, banning people left and right because I don't like them or their posts, but says the "same exact things" on this board that merits moderation.
And God forbid I say anything. All of a sudden I'm a "woman hater". What an ego! I love and admire so many women, but this egotists and her abettors want to levy pain on anyone who disagrees with her as a "woman hater".
What a bunch of Psychotics.

Post Script- Anyway. Joseph Smith lied about seeing God the Father, and His Son Jesus Christ. Does Liz "Dream Team" 356484938 believe this or not?

Everybody Wang Chung,
I only have one question in this regard. Was what Ray posted here, before being edited out, accurate. Did you really send that to him?

I have no idea. What did Ray post before it was edited out?
Coming from Ray, I would take whatever he said with a grain of salt.

You obviously saw the thread talking about it:
I said
"It was absolutely foul (coming from me, you know that's bad). It was directed at Ray's daughters, could have been read as a threat, and was very very offensive."
Liz's description was:
"It was horrible. He talked about how Ray's daughters must still be turning tricks, and called them names, using unspeakable language. I can't believe anyone would talk about another person's child in that manner."
I don't recall the exact words but both of these descriptions ring true to what I saw before it was removed.
You're suggesting that you did not see this before it was removed?
Having been on line and witnessed this, I did not doubt what Ray reported.

Re: A Meltdown of Epic Proportions
While I will not add to the chaos, finger pointing, alliance jockeying, or agnst that is clearly alive and well in this thread, I will comment on one thing that I find to be largely important.
This new PM talk is very, very, disturbing to me (On several levels)
I really don't care (nor do I believe it is the business of any on the board) to hear, read, or learn about private messages. (No matter what is said in them)
As one who uses, and enjoys the PM feature, I expect those private messages to remain private (Without exception), and feel that anyone who posts PM's, or makes references to the content of PM's on the public board (No matter the reason) is grossly in the wrong and places the entire board at risk. Period.
Peace,
Ceeboo

Am I aloud to have more than one reason for creating a board?
You are missing MY point entirely...either purposefully, to push your own agenda, or simply because you don't get it.
Let me try to spell this out:
There were two violations that happened.
I created this board back in July. It was an invite-only board..for friends and NOMs. (Please lose the focus of the primary reason of the board, for a moment. The point is that it was a private, invite-only board.)
It was created with a very abstract URL so that it was not easily searchable.
We were moviing along at a nice, slow little pace. If I could go back to that point in time, I would. People were posting there about once to twice a day. Everyone got along. It was a charming little board. The fact that there was llittle traffic did not bother me in the least. It was simply a board of friends.
Back in August, someone from my board leaked information to Scratch about the board's existance. Scratch cricumvented my security so that he could take a gander at what his favorite nemesis was saying. I banned him.
He then went public here with the existance of my board. I am referring to what happened in August, Sock.
If Scratch had respected my board's privacy, and not publicized its existance to begin with, EVERYTHING that has happened since could have been avoided.
Frankly, it is not YOUR business, or ANYONE's business who is not a member of my board, what the rules are or aren't. It is also no one's business who violates rules on MY board, and who doesn't.. That is MY business, and the business of MY board.
Does that clarify my thoughts on this?
