stemelbow wrote:Is quite easy in this forum to state things as above. I don't recall being insincere when you've attempted to engage me. Plus, I don't think Marg has indicated that because I, as well as anyone, can be insincere and someone questions me on it, that means I'm getting dog-piled on. That's a pretty spin to put to this though, I suppose. So much so one might have to question whether your post is rather disengenuous.(-;
'course I don't care. These threads are turning into a dime a dozen and even more reasonable folks like Fence Sitter are starting to participate in them and go after me. Ah whatever.
If I am one of the more reasonable poster's then maybe my one and only public criticism of you is not "disengenuous" or "dog piling" but actually reflects the frustrations I have felt trying to talk to you since you arrived.
As far as "Spin" goes, let me remind you of our first encounter when I tried to get you to answer a question regarding David Whitmer. which you just blew off. Subsequent to that on our next try I reminded you of it and you seemed to have forgotten about it and gave me about the same answer about forgetting you just tried here. Your lapses of memory seem convenient to your defense of being dog piled.

To be fair, Fence Sitter, I don't recall any particular conversation I've had with you regarding Whitmer. I apologize for that. I've had numerous discussions here with numerous participants. I really don't doubt at all that I failed to answer a question. I don't know how that constitutes being insincere though. The additional point I was trying to address was I don't see why this is worthy of getting dog piled on. What does an instance of me not answering a question regarding Whitmer have to do wtih getting dog piled on?

Stem,
You need to reread my response to understand I was addressing your criticism of me and providing an example of why I was frustrated.
As far as "dog piling" goes I think you would agree I don't have a history of doing that to you which is why I don't understand your attempt to characterize my post as "disengenuous" and dog piling.

Hey Fence Sitter, allow me to clarify in good faith then. This thread is largely about dog piling and me. Some posters have wondered why people are so fond on dog piling on me. I don't get it either. You say part of the problem is that I am an insincere poster as I didn't answer a question you put to me. I simply don't agree at all that even if I had intentionally ignored a question that that consistitutes a cause to dog pile. But then again, I don't recall the instant you are alluding to, still. You are free to point it out for me to see if I deserve the dog piling, if it exists, based on it.

You don't need to remember the Whitmer discussion Fence Sitter brought up. He's simply described your M.O. with most of us.

My continuing to post in this thread will only be seen as taking part in an attack on you which I do not want to do. If you are interested in my opinion of your posting style I would be glad to continue this via PM.
