No. He doesn't consider himself a NOM. It was my mistake. He was my friend. And I decided to include him.

There were other TBMs who fit in just fine.

Even BC, who is known for his curt remarks here, behaved himself quite well on my board. LOL

Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing that up!

Again, I think you're misreading or misinterpreting what happened. I don't know that people wanted DCP "stopped," necessarily. I think, too, that you are insisting on seeing this purely through your own lens as "Queen" of your board; try seeing it through the eyes of the other people--they obviously didn't want to "whine" to you, and they didn't want to drag you into a conflict with someone with as much of a vindictive track record as Dan Peterson.

I don't deserve your condescension, referring to me as the "queen" of my board. I didn't think of myself as "queen" of my board, anymore than Shades is "king" of his.

I still think that I deserved a heads up. You obviously disagree. Lesson learned.

Ceeboo wrote:I, for example, did not go to Shades concerning the posting of the PM on the public board. I decided to post my thoughts directly on the board, to the entire MDB community. (This was my choice)

And, if those folks had addressed their concerns within the community itself, like Jersey Girl did, that would have been fine with me. We could have handled things "in house".

As far as "weighing" not taking this personally, why don't you try putting yourself in my position?

You volunteered time to create something. You spent your valued time doing it. If something like this happpened, wouldn't you at least feel like it had somethiing to do with you? Especially since it was your board?

I don't know whether you're addressing me or Ceeboo, Liz, but if I had started up a board, I wouldn't be taking things personally in the way that you are. You keep acting as if it came to an end due to the doings of others. But you were the one who pulled the plug. And I don't know why you think it's "condescending" to describe you as the "Queen" of your board. Dr. Shades surely is the King of MDB; I bet he's all broken up inside over me saying that.

All I know is that when someone tried to break into your Encyclopedia of Mopologetics website, you were plenty upset about it.

No, I wasn't.

Really? My mistake, then.

Why did you decide to take it down?

in my opinion DCP did not destroy or ruin the Liz's board. Nor did Scratch. Scratch did use the information that he got to continue his obsessive badgering character assassination of DCP.

Does that surprise anyone?

DCP was boorish on a few threads but as noted those engaging him were doing quite well. If Liz starts another board and wants to invite DCP I would not care one whit really.

For whatever reason Liz decided based on the whining here about here board, to shut it down. That is fine as well. I would not have done so. I would have told you all to simply stick it and carried on the board the way I wanted too.

Ah well, that is just me.

Scratch, there is a hidden context I see to the "Queen" comment--namely that Liz is upset that members of her community did not behave in the way she had expected which hurt the feelings of those she considers to be her friends.

Calling Shades the king of MDB is different because Shades has different expectations. This isn't a friends only board. Shades has very few expectations--except when it comes to spelling and emoticons.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.
