Re: A Meltdown of Epic Proportions
Ray,
It's getting late and so I will leave you with this. Liz created a nice board and looked forward to her new project with sense of delight and anticipation. DCP dragged his relationship with Scratch on to that new board. When Liz posted that her stress level was wigging out over all of this, DCP acted like a jerk and ignored her comments in lieu of posting about himself over and over and over again.
He put Liz in the position of asking him to stop or leave the board. In doing so he was setting her up. Had she done that, he would have woven her and that event into his personal narrative wherein he assigns victim status to himself. Time after time, he posted essentially that if he didn't get things his way, he would take his ball and go home.
And you defended him.
So far as I am concerned DCP is an arrogant, self serving, self focused bastard with a sense of entitlement. If you want to defend that, you go right ahead.
The guy posts with is real name and you think that identifies him as "honorable". If it's so damn honorable, Ray, how come so many people are sucked into his self made drama? How much time is devoted to his disputes with Scratch? How much time have you yourself devoted to his disputes with Scratch?
I wonder, Ray, how much time it will take before you figure out that DCP is using you? Go back into Scratch's more recent posts here and note what he says about DCP's lack of reciprocity--and picture yourself squarely there.
See you around.

No, Ray. That's not what annoyed me. His dragging Scratch on to the Cafeteria is what annoyed me. I stated so clearly in full public view on the Cafeteria and also on this very thread.
Have you thought about how many others it annoyed? Was Timp shy of taking him (DCP) up on the debate? And didn't say, "you annoy me!" "Piss off!" Timp was more than anxious to debate DCP. You tried to kill it, using your moderator powers.Jersey Girl wrote:I politely asked him to stay on topic because his post was the point of derailment for the thread in question. There is no way to "keep" someone on topic. I also asked another poster to stay on topic and yet, you chose to fixate on my words to DCP alone.
And that other poster was Asty, another mod on Liz's board, who disagreed with your decision!Jersey Girl wrote:It was pure coincidence that I happened to start reading the thread in question, saw a derailment in progress, traced it back to the point of derailment and asked the poster (DCP) to stay on topic.
Yep, Just "coincidence". Would "coincidence" have led you to reprove anyone else?Jersey Girl wrote:Believe it or not, Ray, the whole entire cyberworld is not out to "get" DCP.
Believe it or not, a moderator politely asking a poster to stay on topic isn't the precursor to Armageddon.
And believe it or not, DCP doesn't need anyone to rescue him.
You, particularly as a mod, certainly tried to shut him up. Do you know what you posted here? And how you were out to "silence" DCP?
I'm not answering any of the above, Ray.

What a fool you are. You've ingrained yourself into all of MDB's conspiracy theories. Hook, line and sinker! Your above quote clearly demonstrates how reckless you are in your judgements.

And you were a moderator? LOL. I lose respect for you by the minute.

I'm 100% certain that DCP can/has "use/d me". Have you read my posts criticising him? Obviously you don't have a friggen clue. You see, I really like the man, and I think he's a honourable person of integrity, even if I disagree with some of his beliefs. I just see you as holding petty grudges, unworthy of a moderator of any board.
You're out of any objectivity circle I perceive as being just and balanced.
Daniel Peterson, nor anyone else, can, nor ever will "use me". That's about the only certainty in our Universe :)

The difference is, everyone knows who I am.
Who......is "Scratch"? You got blind devotees here on this board, supporting Scratch, who wouldn't know the arse end of a horse from the head, which is quite typological of their support of Scatch.

Do you have good days and bad days?
As a follow up, is today a good day or a bad day for you?

It appears someone ran off without paying their taxi fare again.
You've got to get a new job, Ray. You are falling off the deep-end.
