The statement above cannot be taken as a negative or critical statement. No matter how you spin it, I am commenting on a false identity and a fake pseudonym (excuse the redundancy "fake pseudonym"). There is no such entity as "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." It is a pseudonym. There IS an entity that actually exists that is called "Corporation of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." But I did not say anything about that entity in my above statement. I only mentioned the "false identity and fake pseudonym" of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." So as long as the name isn't real, the criticism isn't real, either.

My observation (alleviating harmony of the need to point out what I say is my opinion) is that whether Dan knows Scratch's in real life name/identity, his posts about and responses to posts from Dr Scratch are more personal, directed at the messenger than the message, than Dr Scratch's which a far greater percentage of the time are about mopologetic/NAMIRS methods than about Dan.

I'm not a DCP fanboi. I think that Scratch has taken his anti-DCP stuff way too far. I don't even really care what examples people might trot out of DCP saying things back, or about others. If he's doing it, then he's taking it too far too.

The LDS Church isn't true. Its members are still people, however. They aren't my enemies, even if the idea of Joseph Smith is repugnant to me. I don't think we should be lashing out at people personally in our disagreements about whether the LDS Church is really the Creator of the Univers's liaison organization to planet Earth.
