I can't believe you people believe any of this. Can't you tell it's just a bunch of made-up crap? But you act like it is or at least could be true.

I don't think its a matter of anyone believing it. disengenuous attacks are common here. its the mere mention fo it that serves its purpose for many it seems.
This kind of garbage is clearly absurd, but its the type of stuff that is here often.

The OP is mentally ill. No one really takes him seriously. You can go ahead and calm down now. :)

Yahoo Bot wrote:Get your Van Dam story correct. Wrong Hinckley.
http://utlm.org/newsletters/no84.htm. Van Dam claimed that Gordon was his homosexual lover, not Richard. This is a well known attack on President Hinckley and you've garbled it.
I've seen you post this slur against Richard elsewhere and you can't keep your story consistent. It is easy to detect your posts because you consistently misspell Van Dam's name the same way.
Who are you, the next Kevin Graham?
Or maybe Daheshist's post is an example of "sublime midrash" and you're simply reading it in the wrong spirit.

Who here has said they believe the OP's allegations? They were challenged by Yahoo Bot, Daheshist gave an answer, with no evidence to support his allegations. Others have since pointed out that the OP is something of a crank who most of us here ignore most of the time. Why do you leap to the conclusion that anyone here believes any of what the OP said? Do you believe that what Daheshist said cannot be true? (I'm not saying it is, but you imply that you think it could not possibly be true. I do think that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and that people should not accuse others of crimes without solid evidence to back up the accusation. I first read about this accusation in the God Makers II. I thought then that it was total rubbish. In fact, both God Makers books made me for a long time less likely to listen to anything critical of the church, as I considered it all anti-Mormon nonsense of the sort found in those books. In my view, "anti-Mormons" like Ed Decker do a great disservice by exaggerating claims and lying about Mormon beliefs and customs. I prefer truth, as discovered through evidence and reason, to lies, be they the "faith-promoting" kind told by Mormons or the "faith-destroying" kind told by evangelical "anti-Mormons" like Ed Decker or the kind told by mentally ill nutjobs like, well, you can guess who.)

You know what the most troubling part of this thread is? That people have actually responded to this nonsense.

Hey who here has diagnosed Derrick's mental illness?
I think he's just an angry dude who has his complaints much like other posters here. Try as you might, Buffalo, but this is you in a few years (-:

For quite some time I've been curious why his posts get as much play as they do. I mean surely they aren't the most popular things here, but they get some play. I don't get why.

He's admitted that he has some condition, but I don't remember what it was.
Stem, are you following me around, obsessively responding to all my posts now? :D
