For quite some time I've been curious why his posts get as much play as they do. I mean surely they aren't the most popular things here, but they get some play. I don't get why.
Slow news day.

Please tell me you are not a believing Mormon...If you are, my irony meter just exploded as this is exactly what i a said to my wife after my last visit to the LDS church....If you are a believing Mormon....LOL!!! Thank you for making my day.

Mattie, to be fair Daheshist is talking about real people that are known to exist. The Book of Mormon, not so much.
“We look to not only the spiritual but also the temporal, and we believe that a person who is impoverished temporally cannot blossom spiritually.” Keith McMullin - Counsellor in Presiding Bishopric
"One, two, three...let's go shopping!" Thomas S Monson - Prophet, Seer, Revelator
I know the claims are true because I've spoken to people who know, and have no reason to lie: are not making money from it, etc. Gordon B. Hinckley SAVED his son from the embarassment of a Church Court. Would he have done that for YOUR son, or for you? Hell no. He would have you exed. Gordon B. Hinckley was a liar and hypocrite...to the bone.
Church Policy would have exed you or YOUR son, but the sons and grandsons of General Authorities are never exed...no matter what they do.

Who here has said they believe the OP's allegations? They were challenged by Yahoo Bot, Daheshist gave an answer, with no evidence to support his allegations. Others have since pointed out that the OP is something of a crank who most of us here ignore most of the time. Why do you leap to the conclusion that anyone here believes any of what the OP said? Do you believe that what Daheshist said cannot be true? (I'm not saying it is, but you imply that you think it could not possibly be true. I do think that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and that people should not accuse others of crimes without solid evidence to back up the accusation. I first read about this accusation in the God Makers II. I thought then that it was total rubbish. In fact, both God Makers books made me for a long time less likely to listen to anything critical of the church, as I considered it all anti-Mormon nonsense of the sort found in those books. In my view, "anti-Mormons" like Ed Decker do a great disservice by exaggerating claims and lying about Mormon beliefs and customs. I prefer truth, as discovered through evidence and reason, to lies, be they the "faith-promoting" kind told by Mormons or the "faith-destroying" kind told by evangelical "anti-Mormons" like Ed Decker or the kind told by mentally ill nutjobs like, well, you can guess who.)

It's the internet equivalent of rubbernecking a car crash.
You prove yourself of the devil and anti-mormon every word you utter, because only the devil perverts facts to make their case.--ldsfaqs (6-24-13)
Yes...the Brethren "cover-up" for their own! By their "own" meaning their own family members. There was a cousin of Carlos Asay, once of the First Presidency of the Seventy, who went around molesting children, for many years, decades. He was never exed....because he was the cousin of Carlos Asay. Also, the daughter and son-in-law of another Apostle were molesting children. Again, covered-up. Good Catholics still don't think their leaders would cover-up for evil men, but they did. Good Mormons think the same about their leaders....Men of God would not do that. I agree! Men of God would not do that. Mormon leaders....DO do that. For example, George P. Lee was molesting young girls for DECADES, and he was never exed. NEver fired. He was only "released" and exed after he called Church leaders "racists" after they ended the Indian Placement Program (Church leaders did this because the American Indian Movement considered it RACIST to take Indians off the Reservation to put them into white Mormon homes, and Mormon leaders didn't want the bad press). The Brethren cover-up for their wayward blood relatives all the time! All...the...time!
