Good for the rich. I don't begrudge them their success . . . . . . unless it was because they have an unfair government-given advantage.
I'm fine with the rich having more the percentage of wealth so long as: 1) Our government receives enough tax revenue to pay for our core programs (it doesn't). 2) The rich don't enjoy special government privileges unavailable to the rest of us (they do).
That the rich increase their income much faster than I do doesn't diminish my quality of life. What diminishes my quality of life is having a government with debt up to Kolob but a refuses to tax people who already enjoy government-given privileges I never will. They even refuse to let the Bush tax cuts expire at a time when we're having debt problems. Unbelievable. If I thought the rich were using the extra money to give us jobs and move the economy forward, that'd be one thing but I don't.

I'd bet on them all being top 10-15%.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07
