Thank you Kishkumen, Nightlion, Don Bradley, TheMightyBuilder, Darth J, and RockSlider for your participation in the short leg of the Kishapalooza II tour that I caught, beginning at the Apocalrock Visitor Center in North Salt Lake City and then moving on to the Red Iguana on west North Temple. Each of you contributed greatly to very rich, enlightening and enjoyable evening for me.

I did take in Gilgal Gardens this morning, and also the Garden Creek Ward house on Harvard and about 13th East, the one that Red Butte Creek runs through the curtilage.

RockSlider brought me a DVD with 50+ hours of recorded Hyrum Andrus firesides from the 1950s, and I am now the proud owner of a copy of The Vision of All/The Apocalrock, penned, photographed and published by the prophet Nightlion.

Dang it! I always miss the good stuff.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Oh yes, it was a most enlightening lecture. Cost overruns that boggle the mind. Knowledge of such things would make tithing a real test of faith.

Not sure why I thought you were going to be there ... was hoping to meet you!

I'm stuck on the east coast for the time being. PM with that information you were going to about the plane wreckage! Remember? I want to play around with that essay over the holiday break...

Here is a West Coast Lady. I had pined to see butterflies this year with a couple of different people in the last few weeks. Even Everybody Wang Chung on his visit to the AVC mentioned not seeing Monarch Butterflies like before having noticed all the bees on the flowers still blooming outside.
I took it as a significant sign since it seemed like the observation was Set Up to be so.

I am thinking it might actually be a moth. No significance to that?????

Next it was off to the Red Iguana, where the special surprise was the presence of The Mighty Builder in the company of Darth J. There we ate fine Mexican vittles with Rockslider, sock puppet, Nightlion, TMB, Darth J, and Don Bradley.

I would have loved to have shared a few smiles, some good food, and the pleasure of meeting this group of people.

Thanks for sharing this with me/us.

Peace,

Wish you had been there, Ceeboo. It certainly would have added something special to a wonderful evening.

A cost overrun, in context of corporate church spending, is a release valve to be opened under the Lord's purview. Often, a pecuniary dream is experienced at the same time. This is normal.

Kish, if you make it a little farther west, let me know. I'll round up the BHRC E and we'll have a proper celebration.

Dean Robbers, your faith and charity put me to shame.

Sounds like a plan! I'll let you know when I am in the area.
