Most of my comments are based on research. Try this:
Notice the links in the news piece. You may find them interesting. From the by numbers piece: At least one in five men have pedophiliac fantasies.
You know biixa between our two intellects we would make a wonderful academic team.
This is someone's blog post, not a "news piece" as you claim. The links are to another of the same person's blog posts and the "one in five men have pedophiliac fantasies" statement is not footnoted, not linked, and unsubstantiated. Even if it were, it doesn't back your claims.
ETA: Your condescension towards Blixa is unsavory and unwarranted. Can it.

As long as we have the internet and the fashion industries sexualization of children we will always face an uphill battle. Every pedophile starts with his or her first victim and continues until caught. As the research suggests, one in five men have pedophile fantasies. The pornofication of our societies leads to the end result. And this is the problem.
I notice that you have stuck to general plattitudes, and that you chose not to address any of my solutions. What did you think about my line of questioning?
He allegedly had SEX with the girl DURING sunday school??
How the HELL did that happen????
Does it say that it happened during Sunday School? I didn't think it really specified, did it?
I agree...I have no idea how that would happen. The whole thing is horrible.
At around 1 minute into the video linked above, the reporter states that the court docs detail the abuse that occurred at the chapel and during church service hours.
I cannot imagine a nine year old girl being at the chapel other than during sunday services.

Is it possible that maybe, just maybe, there is no continuing revelation beyond the lost keys to the car?

Why not make the second point the only point and refrain from the satirical swipe at Christ? He left the Mormons on their own when they left Zion behind. EOS.

The person who wrote the piece seems to be an expert with child pornography. It is her special interest. However, what it does prove is that there is a link between how children are portrayed in the fashion industry with pedophilia. And that was my point in my original post. And I think that I made my point. it certainly should not be overlooked.
Also, blixa is the expert of condension as you can read in her post about light cotton. In fact, my comment was a compliment. She is intelligient.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

I did address it. All child molestors have their first victim. No backgroud check will help. No potential child molestor will admit that he or she may be one. So, it wouldn't work. Now what can be done is a background check on individuals called to such positions where they deal with children. No problem there. And most likely it will be done in the future because the problem has become so widespread.
