I shouldn't complain about the strict dress code at the Mormon church.

My idol would fit in!

BC is wrong. BY taught it. Repeatedly. It was published by the Church in the Deseret News-the Church owned newspaper, as well as the Millennial Star. Thus it was official. It was also part of the Lecture at the Veil at the St George temple.

BC has lost over and over on this one. He pretends he has not. Causes to many problems for him.

Did anybody mention these benefits of Church attendance in Utah:

1. After Church services, you will not feel a need to go to the Black Friday sale at Wal-Mart and dose the crowd with pepper spray, in order to have less competition on grabbing choice video games.

2. Zero percent chance of drowning in public pools in Utah (even with the devil inhabiting the the ultraviolet irradiated or chlorinated waters).

3. Improved stealth technique from Sunday trips to the supermarket or family restaurants. Who knows when the ability to blend in with a bread aisle or a quick duck under the table may save you from terrorists.

I believe Mormons are the only group of people who refer to dress cloths as sunday clothes.

As for the comments from why me, STFU you hypocrite. You have admitted MANY times here to porn addiction, never attending LDS services in 30+ years, but still attending Catholic services.

GTFO you hypocrite.

I love the way that you don't let the facts get in the way of a faith promoting lie.

In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.

Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.

the first recorded explanation of the doctrine was by Brigham Young, who first taught the Adam–God doctrine at the church's spring General Conference on April 9, 1852. This sermon was recorded stenographically by George D. Watt, Young's private secretary, who was an expert in Pitman shorthand. Watt published the sermon in 1854 in the British periodical Journal of Discourses, in a volume endorsed by Young and the church's First Presidency.

Amen to that! It was taught as part of the temple ceremony for years. You can't get more docrinal than that.

It is true that since it has been eliminated, the Adam-God theory has been established as non-doctrine. And, since we believe in modern revelation trumping old revelation, the Adam-God theory is no longer doctrinal. I will throw BC a bone and say that this might be what he means by this.

However, there are too many facts which support Adam-God being taught as Church doctrine in the past to argue otherwise.

Why do you continue to lie? Adam God was official doctrine and taught in the temple.
