You'll take everything as a victory for you, because living in your delusional fantasy world is your coping mechanism for the crisis of faith caused by your utter failure to refute any of the legitimate criticisms of Mormonism's truth claims.

I seriously doubt that Simon is having any crisis of faith.

Let it all out, Deej. I know you were the "poster of the year" last year, but you can't be a rock star all the time. I'll continue to point out each time you misrepresent something to further you agenda.

Adieu.

I disagree. There are core doctrines that the church will not bend on, and then there are teachings that have some wiggle room for interpretation. While one leader might state one thing, it's okay for a future leader to state it in a different way as long as it doesn't interfere with the core doctrines.

Regardless, when Darth J states that the brethren believe that the savior vicariously and literally suffered all of the sensations associated with non consensual intercourse -- well, that's just good old Darth J's standard misrepresentations. It's what he does. It's his MO; his raison d'etre.

Would you give us an iteration of the core doctrines of which you speak?

Jeffrey R. Holland

Through this suffering, Jesus redeemed the souls of all men, women, and children “that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.” In doing so, Christ “descended below all things”—including every kind of sickness, infirmity, and dark despair experienced by every mortal being—in order that He might “comprehend all things, that he might be in all and through all things, the light of truth.”

Hmm. Looks like Elder Holland is flagrantly misrepresenting LDS doctrine again.

I'm gonna have to go with Elder Holland over Simon, in spite of the old saw about wisdom from the mouths of infants and all that.

Oh, I go with Elder Holland, too. It's just too bad for Darth J. that Elder Holland is not saying anything close to what Darth J. believes about the church.

How many pages are you going to talk to yourself without showing anyone where I supposedly said that Jesus actually, physically got raped?

You're always saying crap like that, Simon. Then we look in vain for any statement that would demonstrate your clear apprehension of the issue. Standard operating procedure for the Mopologist. "Nuhuh!"
