Challenge to Jersey Girl to take the Discussions - Break out

Just read (parts and for the first time) the "TMG" that was linked in this thread and I must say that (as a believer in Christ) it made me very, very, very uncomfortable and I was very, very disturbed by it. (To be sure)

Sales 101 (How to close and get the order)????

Wow!

Peace,
Ceeboo

Hey Ceeboo,

I didn't want to interfere per Jersey Girl's request so I thought this was as good a time as any to break out.

Anyway, your assessment above wasn't outside of even the TBM missionary mindset I had while serving. There were more than a few times I found myself wondering why we were being taught to make sales when what we were supposedly sharing was the gospel of Christ. I had few moments of rebellion as a missionary, but most revolved around this. And basketball. ;)

Why? What disturbed you about it?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Oops!

PMG!

That's what I meant. I'm a Greenie! Luckily, I've got the Spirit on my side... so long as I stay away from the spirits. Anyone try Hefeweizen? Mmmm mmmmm!
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

If you can find a German 'Unertl', you will be in heaven. Good luck!

During my six year status as investigator, many mishies wanted to teach me the 1st lesson. My precondition was "OK, then I should have the same time to show my opinion".

All of them backtracked. They have known who I am.

Zee, it is the time of Your turn.
I am
- hardcore atheist,
- nevermo, but educated in anti-things...
- husband of a TBM - who have credentials in nuclear physics - and doesn't accept evolution
- father of 5 children and 19 grandchildren - of different religion, including none
- old (66yrs, pensioned soldier)
- lived 25+ years in existing socialism, should it mean anything

- born under Aries
