Situations like yours, Runtu, are the reason I wrote, "In the vast majority of cases." I'm not surprised that the mods get trigger happy on rarer occassions, but I believe that's more the exception than the rule.

What kind of response have the mods offered, when you've contacted them, since?

I can't contact them. Can't even see the board. I think it's just that I made enemies over there, including some moderators, and they were just looking for a reason. Dan's posting of "top ten rejected names for Mormon Scholars Testify" gave it to them.

Perhaps I am the exception, but there are some very knowledgeable and polite posters who have been banned there. For example, I never thought The Dude would get banned for mentioning he'd seen the Big Love episode that depicted the endowment, but that's what happened.

Nope, never posted as Runtu over there. I'm told that what we missionaries adopted as a badge of honor is offensive.
