That is laughable. I'm pretty sure people can think about sex even when the other person is fully dressed.

Stomachs are great, there are things north and south that are more interesting. ;)

So what all of you are saying is that a woman, scandalously dressed, has absolutely no effect on anyone else and has played no role if someone else is sexually attracted to her?

I get it now. There is no intellectual honesty on this board but instead a covering of sins and responsibility.

I think some of the church's teachings about sexuality are unhealthy, but that's another subject and is irrelevant to our taking responsibility for our thoughts and actions. If I can't see a pretty girl without getting aroused and masturbating, that's my problem, not hers, not the church's, nor anyone else's.

"Pretty" is not the issue. What you've been telling us is that "girls in bikinis" play no role in sexual attraction.

Your previous post is a tacit admission that this is what you believe, or that you have trouble parsing what sexual attraction really is, by denying that "girls in bikinis" have no effect on men.

CFR.

See tacit.
On the contrary, I said we are responsible for the effect they have on us.

Okay good. They have an effect. So the question returns to what is our responsibility knowing that we effect others and how what effects are appropriate or not.

Most men are experts at undressing women in our minds, no matter how many layers of clothing she is wearing. And I take full responsibility for undressing those women:)

You're the one trying to blame your illicit fantasies on others. Man up and take responsibility for yourself, hippie!

I once had a young men's leader tell me that the navel was suggestive of the vagina, which is why girls shouldn't wear bikinis.

Which would mean that navel gazing is actually...

This is a horrible thread. I think bcspace is fast going the way of whyme.

I think that is all I wanted to say.

Ok! Sounds like a good time :)

BC, seeing a women in a bikini has an effect on me :) However; seeing a women in a dress, pants, skirt, and well just about anything has an effect on me. What can I say I am attracted to women and I see nothing wrong with this.

Why should we not have sexual attraction to people?

You want women to take a share of the blame for your own thoughts.

Exactly.

Now you're back to denying that sexual attraction does not exist.

I give up. BC Space has completely missed what everyone is trying to say.
