I think that is all I wanted to say.

I think BC Space is going the way of Schryver, with his weird sexual hangups.

That is laughable. I'm pretty sure people can think about sex even when the other person is fully dressed.

Oh I just read this after I posted. This was my point too :)

Why should we not have sexual attraction to people?

Because it makes bcspace feel angry because he's conditioned to self-loath whenever it happens. Don't make bcspace hate himself more than he already does, heartless temptresses!

I once had a young men's leader tell me that the navel was suggestive of the vagina, which is why girls shouldn't wear bikinis.

Laughable. You never heard the Church say that though.
This is a horrible thread

This is a great thread because we are finding out that a lot of people think they can do what they want and have no effect. A sad state of affairs and a warning to us all.

Now you're back to denying that sexual attraction does not exist.

Of course it exists. You're responsible for your own thoughts, though. Don't pass the buck, liberal. Either own your own thoughts or try to expunge them, but don't blame your elicit fantasies on others.

bcspace continues to blame the victims of his mental molestation. Sad. :(

bcspace wrote:So what all of you are saying is that a woman, scandalously dressed, has absolutely no effect on anyone else and has played no role if someone else is sexually attracted to her?

A total distortion of what I have said.

I get it now. There is no intellectual honesty on this board but instead a covering of sins and responsibility.

Says the guy who just dishonestly misrepresented my position and has been trying to convince me that other people bear some responsibility for his thoughts and actions.

"Pretty" is not the issue. What you've been telling us is that "girls in bikinis" play no role in sexual attraction.

Again, CFR. I've said the opposite.

See tacit.

I know the meaning of the word. That you can only distort my statements and insist they are a "tacit" admission of that distortion suggests a real problem with honesty.

Okay good. They have an effect. So the question returns to what is our responsibility knowing that we effect others and how what effects are appropriate or not.

Everything we encounter has an effect on us. What we do with that is our responsibility. Why you're worrying about what others do is beyond me. Clean up your own act first.

I think the problem is BC Space has never caused a woman to feel sexually aroused, so he doesn't understand how hard it is to control other people's sexual urges toward you.

No one is saying this, either.
