Some of you are as hardline in your interpretations of what he should do as the Mormon hardliners are in their own interpretations of what constitutes a good Mormon.

Nothing on this earth will endure its travel to eternity because it all has failings and weaknesses. Is that a reason to seek to destroy, undermine and fight against things that are on the path to goodness? Should you seek the destruction of the global economy because the currency has been hijacked and abused? Or to overthrow your government and abandon democracy because the current state of politics has rendered a few corrupt men oblivious to their own failings? No. So why should someone feel obligated to not participate (and to actively destroy, as some have suggested) the church when they recognize faults?

I know many of the posters here post the most inflammatory remarks possible as a game, or in a conscious effort to turn people like LDST into monsters of seething rage. But if the comments reflect what you really feel you need to go to church and take some time to reflect, ponder and pray.

Everybody Wang Chung is stating that he intends to serve the very Master he has knowledge of being corrupt. The corruption is from its inception and foundation. This is not a good institution gone bad in need of reform, but a cancer on society that has World domination and enslavement as its goal.

Sycophants on the "inside" cannot rise up and lead to truth and honesty, because this system has no truth or honesty to be championed. What is Everybody Wang Chung going to do, on his inauguration state that he has personal doubts about the truthfulness of the the "only true and living Church upon the earth", but he will do his best to serve under the guidelines of the organization and help those he serves? Is he going to state that those who seek Mormon Temple recommends from him need not answer the question about their honesty in dealing with their fellowmen because he himself cannot answer yes? Is Everybody Wang Chung going to overlook the evils in the members because he himself has now become the evilest of them all?

No, this is simply an individual seeking the praise of men for his own purpose.

Or is the SP just an uninspired man?

Exactly. Are you calling false the callings of the true Church?

Even if I put aside your hyperbole, I still disagree. Change is incremental. And mostly from within.

If I remember correctly, you work for the LDS Church on building contracts. You don't refuse their money and then you loudly and publicly denounce them. For not doing that, some might accuse you of the same hypocrisy for which you're implicating E.WC.

I'll disagree with you. Look at Mikhael Gorbachev. Do you think the Berlin Wall could have fallen so peacefully with a hardliner in place in the Soviet Union?

TMB has always been an ass. It's that $8.00 per hour construction job he has -- out in the extreme cold or heat, digging in the dirt. It makes him mad at the world, and the LDS church just happens to be an easy target.

Although I'll agree to a point, I will not say a word against his chosen profession.

A farewell OP and THIS is what follows?
ReallY?

Everybody Wang Chung,

This is clearly and only your decision.
I will not question, judge, or condemn it.
I will miss your contributions to this community and I hope you will check in on some old friends at the MDB down the road.

Peace to you and yours,
Ceeboo

The profession is fine! I just think he can't handle the physical and mental challenges that go along with it.
