Just be careful in IKEA. Those stores are portals. Take a wrong turning, and you'll end up in a different store at a different time, and carrying a portion of meatballs.

So, basically, "ex-Mormons" are going to outer-darkness.

Maybe. I think Telestial for most of those.

But, I was a wee bit confused. It could be that I am actually going to the Telestial Kingdom because I haven't actually denied anything I've felt before...I just interpret it differently than the LDS church would have me interpret my expereinces.

I think it's possible you reject the testimony of Jesus, but perhaps you should list your beliefs/practices you think are contrary to the LDS (Christ's) Church.

Ex-Mormon's are going to outer-darkness because they deny what they felt as members. They just can't leave the church alone!

I think they'll likely end up in hell, but since hell doesn't last forever for most people, perhaps you'll only spend a stint there.

That is what I learned. Oh, and that pretty much you have to be perfect to go to the CK.

Jesus makes you perfect if you show you're willing. If you reject His Church, you're not willing.

Jesus makes you perfect if you show you're willing. If you reject His Church, you're not willing.

So it is the Church more than the message.

THAT is balderdash. On both counts.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I agree with Harmony. Jesus can't make anyone perfect in this life. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God -- so says the Bible, and man is fallen man. So, no matter how willing you may be you ain't ever going to be perfect in this life. Therefore, rejecting or accepting the Church makes no difference because you remain imperfect till the day you die.

Bcspace has taught false doctrine today, and that's particularly bad because it's the sabbath! Repent, bcspace!

Yes, you do teach it. It is a matter of church doctrine that only those who once possessed the light and alltogether turn from it become candidates to outer-darkness. They have to have had the gift of the Holy Ghost. Now how many peoples on this earth does the Church teach has the gift of the Holy Ghost? Only the Mormons have the gift of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, only Mormons can become candidates of outer darkness. And, you have to assume they are going to be ex-Mormons.

Yes, the church teaches it. I taught it in the church for years. I learned it from the church.

At least in Outer Darkness you are not penalized because you forgot to bring sun screen lotion.

Even in Mormon doctrine, that place is limited to those who have not worked their way out of that initial support for the unchosen plan offering or those who had perfect knowledge of God and still denied Him or his two fellow travelers. Know any TBMs with perfect knowledge? Didn't think so.
