He will be a good bishop.
Elohim....you are a clueless tool. Once you decide to actually attend the LDS church, we MIGHT take you seriously. Until then, troll a different site mor(m)on.

Technically, a Chapel Mormon has issues with "most LDS apologists" to the extent that he or she comprehends what the apologist is teaching. But overlooking this technicality, the above sentiments express the core reason why Everybody Wang Chung should be congratulated for accepting the calling! Nothing infuriates the apologists like a noteworthy church member who "questions" the regime and I wholeheartedly endorse this "fifth column" presence within the ranks of the Church that grows daily. Who knows if some of the GAs now question the order of things? And if not today, in twenty years from now it will surely be the case. I would like to award Everybody Wang Chung the prestigious Cassius University iron cross for bravery and moral purity.

Has it occurred to you God's idea of a good bishop might be different from yours?
I have no doubt he will be an excellent force for good as a bishop and will miss his posts.
We really shook the pillars of heaven, didn't we, Wang?

What on earth does "having issues with most LDS apologists" have to do with anything? Are apologists called to be apologists? Are they set apart as such? Is apologist a priesthood calling? Do apologists declare doctrine for the LDS Church?
Who gives a fig whether an active member has issues with most apologists? I know I don't. I don't see why anyone should.

Another one of my favorite hymns. I like the melody, but I also remember when I was a child and thought the lyrics were about saying a jolly hello to Jesus (you know "Yoo hoo unto Jesus!").

Well, Kish, let's revisit the 2nd Watson Letter for a moment. Apologists re the Book of Mormon geography penned the entry in the EoM (Ed. Ludlow). Verbiage from that entry was lifted, supplied to staffer Carla Ogden, who then copied it and faxed it to Roper at NAMIRS, and Hamblin declared it to be the position of the Church.
Since that occurred in 1993, none of the Brethren have officially mentioned where the Book of Mormon Hill Cumorah is.
So you tell me where LDS doctrine originates these days, particularly on topics that NAMIRS is trying to defend the Church?

Argh. Me too. Now I have to go and find out what they're really saying.

Lol.
(If Everybody Wang Chung thinks the personalities and interactions on this board are complex, he’s in for an interesting journey.)

I am speaking de iure, not de facto.
