Christmas the time of year I hang out with Mormons

Post by _Rambo »

Anyone else find this?

I'm hanging with my family who are Mormon. Some of my good friends who are back in town are Mormon and were all hanging out. Even the ones that are in town want to have a Christmas dinner and I guess I have the best kitchen for it. Christmas is basically Mormon time for me.

Here they will be coming over and seeing my booze and my boobs sign I made with my christmas lights :)

Should be an interesting Christmas that is for sure.

I wonder if my tongue will slip with swear words and all the other things I may say...

Nope. This year I've skipped the two Mo-parties and the ward Christmas party that I attend every year. I've replaced with two gatherings with new friends.

However, I'll probably attend the community Christmas choir performance at the stake centre this Sunday night, since I do kinda miss the live Christmas music, and I didn't have enough foresight to get tickets for one of the great Toronto choir performances.

Merry Christmas, Rambo. One day, we'll grab a Keith's together.

Don't get me wrong I have avoided all the gatherings at the church or at other Mormon "friends" house's.

Yes LDST if you are ever in my area I would be down. I'll let you know if I am ever in your town.

First Christmas of my life I won't be around other Mormons (except my wife and one baptized daughter).

Sort of sad but also new.

I plan to attend midnight Mass this year. Not sure if I'll see too many Mormons in there.

I just spent a week in Sin City. I can only take so much cheap frosting. Don't get me wrong. Cheap frosting has its place!

Ok, I admit I didn't go to any clubs or shows. Maybe I'm getting old. Next time I visit your country, I'll look you up and we'll hit the club sound good?

Christmas Eve Midnight Mass is really cool. Zeez can go to that and also have a nice family Christmas too. I think that can be a form of "partying your ass off."

Rambo,

I feel bad for comparing partying with cheap frosting. I should have said homemade rum frosting. You know about me and rum- aaargh. Rum frosting is *very* delicious but I can only take so much.

Yes! But you got to go to the strippers when you go to Vegas. :)

Blixa we seem to have very different views on what partying your ass off means.

I think I would be bored as “F” at a midnight mass.
