Shades has speculated that Chapel Mormons are different than their Internet Brethren. I wanted to offer proof, while at the same time correcting the terms. It is best to use Normal Mormons versus Apologists in seeking a more meaningful distinguishing nomenclature, since everyone uses the internet nowadays.
From LDS Living Magazine talking about cooking with alcohol, 76% of Normal Mormons were okay with it, while 24% said it was bad. However, on the Mormon Discussions and Dialogue board the results were the opposite: An overwhelming 82% were against and a mere 18% were for the use of alcohol in cooking.
A clinical interpretation of the results suggests that Normal Mormons are more accepting while Apologists tend to be more closed minded and probably have some form of erectile dysfunction.
Feel free to further analyze results.

I think you need to reread how the question is phrased at MDD.
So a no vote means they are okay with it.
But I have been drinking err cooking so I may be the confused one.
In your opinion does cooking with alcohols such as wine or beer violate the Word of Wisdom, given the fact that sometimes not all alcohol is cooked out of such a dish

Fence Sitter, if we accepted your interpretation of the poll, then how would you explain the erectile dysfunction?
Okay, maybe apologists aren't that closed minded after all. Should have asked them whether they would refrain from a non-alcoholic Martinelli Sparkling White with their turkey dinner because the bottle looks like it could have contained alcohol. That would have separated those seeking to avoid the appearance of impropriety from those saying that Church finances should remain clandestinely sacred.

I find bar graphs are useful for explanations of this type.

Indeed. That's probably why they're always going off half-cocked.
