Brilliant! Can you tell us members where we can read these audits?

It was in last week's Sacrament meeting program. If you hadn't gotten drunk last Saturday night, maybe you would have gotten to church in time to get your copy...

And internal audit is very different than an audit by independent CPAs from a CPA Firm. What the Church does is nothing like what an outside independent audit firm would do.
As I recall, this has always been an issue to you. It never was for me, so much, but it's kind of silly to say "Trust us. We audited ourselves, so we can assure you we are spending the money honestly and wisely. But don't ask us for details."

The issue I have is not about the audit itself. It is when people say there is an audit and they think it is an independent audit that bugs me. The two are very different. Of course an audit by an independent CPA firm is not perfect. Malfeasance and fraud can still happen even when such audits occur, and as Enron showed us, at times the independent auditors have turned a blind eye to bad behavior.
Now I do have an issue with not publishing financial information but that as well as the above is a topic for another thread.

From which fund came the money that the church used to originally purchase those taxed business holdings?
