Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, said the Santa Monica situation was “one of the cutest success stories of the season.” This year, the Wisconsin-based group has put up its own version of a manger in the Wisconsin State Capitol, with Einstein, Darwin and Emma Goldman standing as the wise men and a black female doll as the featured infant.

WTF

I use to be a proud member of the FFRF, now I hold them in pretty low regard for stupid crap like this.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

There's a world of difference between fascism and garden variety dickishness.

why me wrote:To surround a nativity scene with atheist messages is disgusting and fascist. If you can't see that, well, it is not really my problem. But then again, maybe it is. Just a sign of a 'runaway' world.

What atheists are doing in this instance is nothing different than your knee-jerk need to post asinine responses to thoughtful comments on MDB. Should you have to stay out of all atheist threads because your posting in them in response is "disgusting and fascist"? You made the point of ludwigm's posted illustration. Christians make the best hypocrites.

Why must you persecute unbelievers? :(

I think if he'd just used the first part of his opening line "Talking about killjoys" he would have gotten a totally different reaction. I see this going to your flow chart box "How does it call attention itself".
