but they weren't banned for there so called arguments?

I never said that. This is an idea of your own imagining. I said that the specific reasons for people being banned would vary, but if they wouldn't have been banned if they weren't critics.

You are trying to turn your request of "name one board that silences critics" into "name one board that silences critics because their ideas are too much for the LDS to handle." What is it you expect me to do here? Link you to a thread on MDD where a moderator kicks someone out for being too smart?

Feeling a little thin skinned?

The arguments are still here. You can check their validity any time. We don't conveniently erase things here.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, unless you're attempting to poison the well. I merely described how they used to operate until recently.

Well, it looks like I spoke too soon. They banned Batcreekcrazy on a technicality - conveniently shortly after he had been making Dr. Peterson look rather foolish.

Excuse double posting something from another thread, but this seems relevant - sorry if it has already been mentioned:

FYI,

Will Schryver recently informed me that he has been permanently banned from this board and he asked that I let people know this and to mention that he won't be returning to the boards and to give everyone his well wishes.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Not published by FAIR, permanently banned from the MADboard ... have we seen the last of him, do you think?

No wait, he is soon to be published isn't he ... somewhere ...

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Banning Schryver does show they're making progress. Of course, he's more of an embarrassment and a liability to the apologists than anything else, so it's also in their best interests.
