In several(?) years I have not said a single negative word toward you Marg, while, every now and again during this time, you take a shot at me. I know this not because I'm keeping score, but after I'm away from the board for a while I'll do a search on my name to see what outstanding items I owe people and it comes up.

Why do you think i will get involved now, in bold, when I've passed over the opportunity to get involved in the last two or three years?

I respond to you now for one reason. You've mentioned me as having insulted you several times since we've had any arguments. I believe that I've made mistakes in my interaction with you, and today I've felt like clearing the air from my side, and admitting that I've overreacted in the past and that I have been too critical of you. My silence in the last years has not communicated that, so I make it explicit now.

That's all.

Perhaps this post is evidence to you that I will now get involved, so be it, but it ends with this post.

That is possible, and if I did so I apologize. That last blog I remember having is my phil. mind blog, which sucked, and I haven't posted there in years; i posted there during the worst part of my life, which made it difficult to make sense.

If there's another blog, my Cassius site or a blog here(?) that is more recent where i said something, well, then it is what it is, i can only move forward from there. but i am being sincere when I say I don't remember it. And it is my real intention to not make things so personal with people I disagree with.

Ok Gad, I apologize for insulting you on your critical thinking skills. As you know I tend to have difficulty understanding what you write and that's likely more my fault that yours. ( I know I'm setting myself up for a cheap shot from EA.)

You aren't sorry EA. You have been on a concerted campaign for quite sometime and like I said in the thread in which I was attempting to discuss Dawkin's argument with Stak..your participation in that was to encourage stak in his insults...you added nothing other than that to the discussion.

To be fair, EA was the first poster to tell me to lay off on you, he said that I was being cruel.

First of all the thread you are referring occurred after the thread I mentioned above. Secondly I viewed his comment which you are referring to as an intended insult. I didn't perceive you to be cruel at all. I perceived you to have lost the argument in the sense that you resorted to personal attack. His comment was a veiled intended insult to me but as well he appreciated you weren't coming across as a mature individual. Trust me that comment of his was not made because he was concerned my feelings would be hurt. Just reading this thread you can appreciate that.

Well now, hold on there Debbie Downs, there is a world of difference between EA and me. I genuinely don’t like you and I don’t think you deserve dignity, nor respect, that is why I treat you the way I do.

When EA says you suck at arguing, he stating it as a matter of fact, not a put down. A doctor calling a patient obese when they are in fact 250 pounds overweight, is not an insult. That is merely what EA is doing.

Case in point, when someone asked recently, “What’s marg’s problem?”

My reply was, “ Some people call that problem Fetal Alcohol Syndrome”

EA’s reply was, “ She’s understandably upset, because I used her as an example of someone who has poor critical thinking skills.”

I’m demeaning you, EA is diagnosing you.

When EA asked you to stop the insults because you were being cruel, that was an intended insult to me. He wasn't concerned about my feelings stak. His comment was intended to suggest your insults were legitimate and should be taken seriously. You probably said something along the lines of "Marg you are retarded". Why would I take that to heart Stak? So instead of criticizing you for repeating over and over ..the insult in which in my opinion you came across as juvenile..he turns it into an insult which is supposedly legitimate but cruel. It's not a put down of you, it's meant as a put down of me.

I like things out in the open. I know exactly where EA stands and it's all out in the open. Gad has spoken up and I will no longer group those 2 together, unless I'm given reason to.

And I'm not upset Stak..in fact I have to thank EA. If it wasn't for his pot shot, I would never have brought this up and I wouldn't have received the nice comments I did from Ray and Gad.

EA you mentioned in this thread perhaps more than once that I am frequently mean when I argue. Is this in recent years? Who do you recall I've been mean to and/or in what sort of way or under what circumstances?
