This is very profound. Really.

I think some posters are along the lines "My beliefs are right, and your beliefs are stupid." BrianH is more on the side of "I'm right, and you're stupid." I think that's why he has gotten more of a negative reaction then average posters.

6 years ago BrianH admitted that he has never attended a Mormon church.

So, essentially, Brian is criticizing something about which he has no firsthand knowledge.

Whoa.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Whoa.

Probably. At least... for 24 of his 30 "ministry" to Mormons. Its possible that BrianH attended a Mormon Church since then, but I doubt it.

A good example of what I mean. Someday I'll be able to form an argument or assertion that meets your standard, Jason. Oh.... someday. That lofty someday.

I may be a bit slow today as I have been ill so I am not sure if you are complimenting me or railing on me a bit. Either way just to clarify, I did find your statement, while simple and to the point, really profound. I was trying to be complimentary to you. If it did not come across that way I am sorry.

Isn't this the way of it for so many of us when we argue a position we hold near and dear. I'm right and you are stupid really sums up how we all often act. We should as strive to change that.

Defensive much?
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
