I have never worn anything like it so I don't know! I have worn arm warmers biking and there is elastic at the top of my arm and it stays. This garment band wouldn't have anything pulling down on it so maybe a little elastic should do the trick?

I wear over-the-knee and thigh-highs all the time. I use sock garters made from elastic with a tiny button to change the size (depending on what part of the leg I'm wearing it on). Zee's garters look like the old fashioned kind which had wide elastic covered in satin ribbon. A simple addition of a button and button holes would make it adjustable and less prone to slippage.
Pro tip: If you wear heavy woolen thigh-highs like I sometimes do in winter, a man's hockey garter belt works great!

That's the sort of exercise that might turn an engineer into a medical illustrator. :)
How about tattoos? They're popular right now and would eliminate the need for clothing, altogether. The faithful could run around naked and still be protected with just the little symbols in the right places.

You are too kind. Thank you. I quickly found it's all about proportions and shading. I can see a regular pencil isn't the right tool.
