true.
How is it that the observation that a doctrine "has been testified to us by at least 2 witnesses" makes the doctrine true?
Doesn't the fact that the LDS Church has come out with an official statement saying that LDS theology is compatible with the principles of either of the two major US political parties, make this doctrine false?
For the record, I'm a Republican, not a Democrat, but I'm a moderate, not a conservative, and there was a time when I considered myself an independent that I voted both for Michael Dukakis in the general election and Paul Tsongas in the primary election, and I never for a second felt like I was abandoning the principles of the LDS Church.
I also happen to believe that Harry Reid has a great understanding of the LDS Gospel, and that in his own way he is living it completely. As I understand it he has a home teaching route that he visits faithfully every month; whereas my own home teacher, a pretty staunch conservative, hasn't visited my house once in the year he's been assigned to us. So can anyone really say that the former man is less of a Latter-day Saint than the latter?
