Yahoobot could never do what John has done.
Bot is VERY entrenched in the LDS lifestyle, his clients and his huge family would not allow him to make such a choice.
He has a specific need to believe in Joseph'sMyth.

Forgive me, but who the Hell are John & Brooke McLay?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Well, thank goodness I have no particular church calling, live in urban Los Angeles. Because of professional pressures I don't associate with the Saints except on a few Sundays and maybe a basketball league.
I believe in essential Christianity, and since I believe the Augustinian doctrine of grace abhorrent, I find the Church's position on free will the most compelling of any form of Christianity.
You all talk about good works as giving a bum on the street 20 dollars, something you all have done maybe twice in your lives. The Church talks about good works as changing the lives of the poor and the downtrodden on an individual level, and that I've seen with my own eyes, and it works. I'm not the greatest living example of a Christian, but I'm better for it by congregating and breaking bread with the Saints.

Which is why I bought all our kids testimony gloves for Christmas, because a portion of the royalties from the sale of every testimony glove goes toward providing testimony gloves for children in developing countries. Why would I provide them unneccessary things like food or clean water when I can provide them a testimony glove?
*Royalties from the sale of this book assist in providing testimony gloves to children in developing countries.
A glove is included with every book.

It is my province to teach to the Church what the doctrine is. It is your province to echo what I say or to remain silent.
