Mormons instinctively know that Catholicism is true

Post by _Buffalo »

You know it. Deep down inside your heart. You're fighting against it, but deep down, you KNOW it's true. And I hope some day you'll do something about it before it's too late. For you AND your children.

Sorry, I've heard that argument so many times from TBMs, I just wanted to try it out from the other side.

I know that deep down you know that your soul has dozens, perhaps hundreds or thousands, of thetans clumped onto it, which are inhibiting you from wielding the fantastic cosmic powers that should be yours. I know that you know this, and you're just too proud to accept it, or too unwilling to stop doing all the things you're not supposed to be doing, and start reading more of L. Ron Hubbard's works.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

I know that I am the equal of Joseph Smith Jr. in finding treasures on other peoples' properties through the guidance of a supernatural revelatory object.

For a small fee + expenses I can show up at the destination of your choice, and using the supernatural revelatory object of your choosing, spend a couple of weeks of your time on your nickel not finding treasure.

For me it comes down to a choice. I choose to know Catholicism is true.

Steelhead,

Per Bushman's theory, you learn obedience through your treasure seeking activities. Soon, you will be primed for doing translations with me.

How about a couple of months?

You know, I've sometimes pondered that remaining employed as a treasure-seeker for as long as Joseph did in spite of never finding a single treasure is the most miraculous thing he ever did. And no, I'm not being sarcastic.

There's no way on earth that I could ever pull off such a feat.

LOL!

Well as per the thread containing the write a "Book of Mormon equivalent" challenge, I will admit that I am not cheap. If you read the hidden print of my offer: said fee is actually to the tune of about $5000 a week. You have to make a living you know.

Nope. Read too much early Christian history and doctrine for that.

Irony at its best.

BC, did you type that with a straight face?
