We are all descended from Adam and Eve. Right, BCSpace? This definitely has to do with evolution.

We could be. But it also means we are descended from their homo sapiens ancestors as well.

All of earth's peoples descended from one couple in the Near East, no more than 10,000 years ago? Science does not agree, BC. Please make your case.

Give it up BC. The earth is young. Half of what you learned in school is BS.

Easily resolved if garden state is local. Of course you are erroneously assuming I can only think of an all literally descended from A&E case. Another possible point of reference, the identical ancestors point, is estimated to be between 5000 and 15000 years ago.

No evidence for this in science. LDS doctrine accepts the possibility of an old earth.

The chromosomal Adam was about 60,000 years ago, not 5,000 to 15,000 as you suggest. (The Identical Ancestors Point doesn't refer to a single set of parents for all mankind.)

The combination of evolution and a local Garden presumes no meaningful creation story. You believe there was no original sin. You’re not sure we’re descended from Adam and Eve. Really, if that’s the case, what's the purpose of the Story of Creation?

The Curse of Cain is all I can think of. And the 1978 revelation made that a moot point.

I have not suggested such.

And now Darth J resorts to putting words in someone's mouth because the conversation is way over his head now.
