The chromosomal Adam was about 60,000 years ago, not 5,000 to 15,000 as you suggest. (The Identical Ancestors Point doesn't refer to a single set of parents for all mankind.)

The combination of evolution and a local Garden presumes no meaningful creation story. You believe there was no original sin. You’re not sure we’re descended from Adam and Eve. Really, if that’s the case, what's the purpose of the Story of Creation?

No, really: the way that spaceships fly around in space like airplanes in the Star Wars movies is totally compatible with what we currently know about aerospace engineering!
