I guess Mormons aren't the only people with weird beliefs. It reminds me when I was a kid and BYU finished the season ranked #1 in 1984. It was common knowledge in my ward that God was responsible for that.

What's worse, I think, is that that many people believe that God really gives a damn about football. That's more frightening to me.
