What a tough thread to have to read and endure. So much anger against a people that just want to love the way they are designed to love.

Look Droopy, I just want to be who I really am and enjoy my happiness under the sun. I've never been so happy now that I'm living my true sexual orientation. It's joy. I don't expect you to understand that or agree.

So, with that said, I love being gay and being who I really am. I never knew life could be so good. I was living a crazy dream in Mormonism and fulfilled my duties the best I could. No regrets. I got to be married for 20 years and have kids. I experienced church life first hand and it was interesting. But now, I've moved on and my life has purpose and is enriched.

I'm appreciative that the laws of the land at least allow gays to love each other. That didn't always used to be the case. I want to see greater laws and rights to protection for gays, including the right to marry and play house to their heart's content.

I, for one, do not think that Droopy is a closeted, self-loathing homosexual. And, I don't think that there are really reasonable people who believe that, either. It was a cheap shot. To be honest, I find a cheap shot like that as offensive as a lot of the ill treatment homosexuals receive. Let's pull it back a little.

I actually think Bluffalot is only perhaps 17 or 18 yeas old, so some leeway has to be given to the fruits of callow youth.

Note Liz, that Bluffalo's only evidence that I am a closeted, self loathing homosexual (which has been picked up by some others here) is that I am critical of the homosexual lifestyle and of "Gay" culture and political ideology.

Hence, if you are against it, you must be for it. In other words, anyone who is against smoking marijuana must be a closeted pot head. Anyone who is against adultery must secretly be dying to dive into an affair. Anyone seriously critical of pornography and its culture must really be...

Well, you see where this always ends.

This is perhaps the greatest debate circumvention tactic ever conceived by humankind.
