I'd just like to make it completely clear to everybody and anybody who may be reading this that New Jersey in a wonderful place, and that some very, very fine and wonderful people come from New Jersey. Heck, they're all very fine and wonderful people. And their religion is a religion of peace (sorry, wrong speech).

I'm sacred of little dogs ... I don't want anyone mailing me one ... so it will arrive in a bad mood or anything.

Interesting. So he really did go to Paris and he posted about the temple. I guess he was just showing everyone that a temple is coming. I made the assumption he went to the temple because he just got back from Paris and the only thing reported on was the temple.

Maybe he found the future site of the temple more inspiring than the Louvre.

This link will take you to the googley maps thing where you can conduct a 'virtual' walkabout of the same area he went to Paris and was so inspired by...

You've been listening to too many apologists.

Yes, it was a silly mistake.

I think I may have lost a Facebook friend and now I'm down to 8.

He was probably not happy to see only one response to his happy news about the temple (mine). Not only did he just get one response but it was a response that directed attention away from the very thing he was excited about.

You're very kind-hearted, zeez. To me, someone who comes up with a silly remark like the Louvre is overrated is an imbecile. You are much nicer.

Blixa,

Having people like you on my list makes 8 plenty. :)

Mostly, I'm glad the subject was brought to light because I really was pretty clueless about the Louvre before the post was made.

What I find frustrating is this: People get so excited about things that have been pounded into our lives for years. Another temple woohoo! This is so amazing! Really? Have you stopped to ask why? But why doesn't anyone say, hey this place called the Louvre is in Paris and it has been around for a long time but we don't appreciate it enough because it's not part of our culture.

This website suggests that the temple is under construction.

I have been enjoying looking at pictures of things the R. Catholic church has spent tithing dollars on.
