Let me remind everyone what bcspace's elegant reasoning leads to. According to bcspace, the Church's view is that everything in its publications is doctrine unless it says of itself it isn't or something else says it isn't. Also, recall that from an official Church publication we learn that doctrine is the word of God. Therefore,
