My favorite examples of Mormon-themed science fiction:

A Billion Eves by Robert Reed – won the Hugo for best novella in, I believe, 2007.

Inclination by William Shunn – short story, Included in Science Fiction: The Best of the Year 2007.

Excellent. I just downloaded it to my kindle. I'll read it on the plane next week.

Really?

Let me know what you think. But if you hated Jane Eyre...

I liked the short story version of Ender's Game better than the novel.

I should go back and read Jane Eyre again. A lot has changed with me in 35 years.

I also recommend Twilight by Stephenie Meyers.

Yes! Me too.

A can never get over the heavy Mormon themes in Card's work, though. It's so blatant.

The Enders series is good. Homecoming was junk. The women of the Old Testament books aren't too bad.
It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Yeah, well, I'd rather read Twilight than a sex scene written by Orson Scott Card. He's got the worst sex scenes ever. Whenever he writes about sex it comes out creepy and wrong.
