What other person did I post "in real life information" about?

A moderator chastised me for posting what I posted about you, and I meant it when I said well over a week ago that I was sorry and I wouldn't do it again. Stak didn't rebuke me because he didn't have to.

Anyways, I'm tapping out of this thread until a moderator deletes your new round of attacks on my husband as per our new forum rules, and moves your Telestial comments to Telestial. Take care.

Uh. My wife. The fact that you'd post misleading in real life information paints her in an inaccurate picture, as well as myself, and is far more damaging than calling someone a pussy on an Internet forum.

You need to be Christian and apologize. Let's see if you can put your money where your philisophy is at and make things better.

Let's see if MsJack truly believes the crap she espouses.

Both of them need to knock it off. Too much cussing on the terrestrial board. Rules are rules. I call for suspensions, now.

I've been suspended so many times I can't count. Now I see others doing what I used to do and get away with it. This place has gone to hell.

BS. I talk about my Other all the time. Sell it to someone who will believe it.

I've heard you reference a "significant other." That doesn't mean that you're married. If you've mentioned having a wife, then I've missed it. It's not the sort of thing I care about.

Don't really care if you believe me or not. It's the truth and that's that.

Ok. Welp, Ms. Umbridge can have at it. I'm done with her drama. Crazy.

I appreciate that you shared a similar observation and were willing to express it at some cost to yourself as you are now the subject of the dog pile. I apologize for beginning the conversation that moved things to this point.

No I didn't know I'm in the dog pile discussion :) thanks for warning me because now I won't open it. I don't have time for this.

I also don't have much else to say in this thread. I only returned, actually, because I didn't think it was fair to leave you to bear the attack when you volunteered to support my view. I sincerely appreciate that. But I think I am going to follow the advise you gave MsJack regarding walking away from a conversation that isn't serving any benefit.

At some point I have to do that too.

I still feel the same about MsJack's response and while it may not have come across this way, it was born out of surprise because I genuinely like her and usually admire her contribution to the online world of Mormonism. I don't see a qualitative difference between the accusations she's made about Cam in real life and his insult of her husband and their relationship. I don't think they're the same thing, but in order of magnitude I tend to think the nuclear option was exercised in that thread multiple times, and Cam wasn't the first person to push the button. And we all know how nuclear wars tend to play out. All it takes is one person who chooses to push the button and then everyone is riding their H-bombs rodeo style.

Correct and I don't blame Ms.Jack for that, however recently she has said she feels the report button works well..and if that is the case that would have been the best option rather than to escalate things. If someone is harassing and preventing a discussion moving forward respectfully, then get rid of their posts from the thread. In the past I've refrained from using the report button but in rethinking this board and how it operates, because it's non threaded, to control hostile posts, they need to be moved out or it is likely to result in an escalation of hostility. On a threaded view format, individuals and attack posts are much easier to ignore..whereas on here they get greater attention than they deserve.

I'm not fully confident the report button works well or that mods appreciate why and when posts should be moved. Moderation should be used to enable discussions to progress. There tends to be a notion that only when vulgar language is used should posts be moved. In my opinion it's when someone is hostilely disrespecting another or others and in doing so it function to prevent the discussion or it derails it.

I dislike one-liner pile-ons..when there has already previously been a critical attack or remark against someone. I'm thinking of something I read earlier today in an attack of LDSFAQ. They seem innocuous but I find the one liner attacks to be petty and irritating to read.

ETA..I think I'll go to the telestial to address a post from MsJack earlier on. I don't have time for 2 threads right now.
