The thing I like about the Brodies is that they cover the spectrum of belief. I've been exposed to some interesting pro-LDS material because of LDMS and the Brodies. I figure learning new stuff, even from people I disagree with, is hardly mental masturbation.

I don't feel it's ugly to cry out against the church that condemns the wonderful sexual orientation that naturally exists within my soul. Being gay is beautiful, I know it, I've experienced it first hand and it fills me with pleasure. You cannot take that testimony away!

I don't think it is ugly to cry out against a pretended Egyptian translator (Joe Smith) for telling the world that there is a king's name in Facsimile No. 3 and that the name Shulem is found therein.

I think you are very mistaken, bcspace. Infact, I know it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Peaceful and warm feelings wash over me as my mind expands in joy and wonder knowing what I am doing now days is blessed. Damn, it's better than the Holy Ghost feeling sitting in the bishops office.
