I don't know of ANY Mormon, save Liberals of the Political kind who don't believe in Traditional Marriage. Most of us Internet Mormons are Faithful Members of the Church and true blue Conservatives. The writer is clearly confusing anti-mormons and liberals on the internet with Faithful Mormons be they the so-called Internet or Chapel Mormon variety.
I guess you're for "traditional marriage" if you just ignore polygamy.

A quote from Daniel C. Peterson for your consideration.
He [Stanley Kimball] spoke of three levels of Mormon history. Level A, he said, is the Sunday School version. Everything on Level A is obviously good and true and harmonious. Level B, however, is the anti- Mormon version of the same story. ...On this level, everything that you thought was good and true and harmonious actually turns out to be evil and false and chaotic. He noted that the Church typically seeks to keep its members on Level A or, at least, feels no institutional obligation to bring them to a deeper level. Why? Because souls are lost on Level B. And, though Level C might be academically more desirable, it cannot be accessed without at least some exposure to Level B. Were he in a leadership position, he said, he would probably make the same decision. Once members of the Church have been exposed to Level B, though, he said, their only hope is to press on to the richer, more complicated version of history that is to be found on Level C—which, he contended and I agree, turns out to be essentially, and profoundly, like Level A. The only cure for bad historiography is better historiography. The only remedy for bad anti-Mormon arguments is better counterarguments.... Not everybody needs Level C. But some do, whether because they are troubled by Level B or because they find Level A insufficiently nourishing in some way. Many good saints will live their entire lives on Level A, and they will be saved.

I don't know if you were agreeing with me or disagreeing with me, but this quote proves my comment (note the bolded part specifically). Not only that, but it demonstrates what I've been saying all along, that anti-mormonism isn't the end of the truth, that there is a level C, a final level that is the actual truth and which conforms to level A, just more detailed.
I was a basic level A believing Mormon..... became an anti-mormon/anti-religion level B, then became believing again, at Level C.

It is the anti-mormon/ex-mormon who goes around claiming
Again, the writer lies.....
The writer again lies speaking of "name-calling".
But I've seen anti-mormons and ex-mormons do it all the time.
Now, anti-mormons do
She entirely LIES about us
Problem with you anti-mormons is that, you only see what you want to see, rather than the actual truth. Yes, I said the word "lie" a bunch of times, that's because it was what occurred. But what you ignore is the SUBSTANCE, EVIDENCE, and RATIONALE that I also provide..... Thus, you never learn a thing..... remaining forever ignorant, forever bigots.

Hmm . . . "ignorant" and "bigot." Maybe I should add those to the ldsfaqs argument generator.

I disagree with the quote fundamentally (There is no satisfying level C). But he is admitting that level A Mormons aren't being told everything, and that level C is "academically more desirable." Which refutes your claim.
Maybe instead of focusing on "mocking" an LDS person, you should instead focus on correcting your ignorance an bigotry. I don't say it for no reason. I say it because that's how evil you all have become, no different than the KKK, Fanatical Islam, etc.

There IS a "Level C"..... Because I've done it. And every Mormon whether they leave the Church or not, does it also, their transition simply is likely quicker and more balanced. Me, I had to leave the Church and be an actual anti-mormon, and then come back and know the actual truth.
And how does that refute my claim? Basic Mormonism on Sunday isn't focused on the "academic". It's focused on bringing people to Christ, and "basic" academia. Those who are interested in the academic would most certainly find Level C as more satisfying. I have for the last 19 years at Level C. I study everything, still study Christian and other religious history, still read anti-mormon malarkey, and still study LDS scholarship. I was already able to prove intellectually the Church true 19 years ago, and since then the evidences have only Quadrupled..... There is no excuse anymore for those actually interested in the truth. For those who can't see the truth now are either intellectually lazy or willingly brainwashed by anti-mormonism, thus lazy in another way, unwilling to still seek out the actual truth.

This shows exactly why chapel Mormons feel slighted by internet Mormons. What Dr. Dan is saying is that chapel Mormons are nourished by the level A minutia. Meanwhile the spiritual giants that are internet Mormons are not content with level A. They aspire for the greatness of level C. And none of you apologists see how this is condescending, prideful and hurtful to the average chapel Mormon?
It is my province to teach to the Church what the doctrine is. It is your province to echo what I say or to remain silent. Bruce R. McConkie
Okay. I'm going to try to make this as simple as possible. You said, "It is the anti-mormon/ex-mormon who goes around claiming that so-called intellectual Mormons know the "real truth" while so-called chapel Mormons do not."
Daniel C. Peterson Said,
"He [Stanley Kimball] spoke of three levels of Mormon history. Level A, he said, is the Sunday School version... He noted that the Church typically seeks to keep its members on Level A or, at least, feels no institutional obligation to bring them to a deeper level... Here you have Daniel C. Peterson saying that average members are at a lower level than level C. Mormons. That Level C Mormons understand the "more complicated version of history." He is saying pretty clearly that "chapel Mormons" or "level A" Mormons don't know the whole truth.
