Horrible.
Josh Powell was obviously crazy. However, I think the problem was likely exacerbated by the church. When Susan's friends were encouraging her to divorce Josh due to his doubts about the church, that might have been one factor that pushed him over the edge.

Very tragic story. I don't know about the issue of their faith differences. If he murdered her because she wanted a divorce or got mad at him for doubts about the church, he is still a murdering psychopath. Maybe her friends wanted her to divorce him because he was just plain crazy.

Wait a minute. There is NO evidence that she is in fact dead. Now that Mr. Powell has died, maybe she will come out of hiding.

The West Valley City police have vowed to continue the hunt for Susan Powell. While they might cut back on the six full time officers working the case, I would expect more ATV trips in the future and possibly even following up on clues that the beaches of Hawaii may hold.
