The person that wrote this modesty note is only parroting what his leaders have taught him. Women are walking pornography. Women are responsible for controlling a man's desires. It will always be the fault of the woman.

Mormon GA's have always held this opinion. I'm sure if Boyd KKK Packer were to hear of this story, he would send this woman a copy of the Miracle Of Forgiveness.

This guy is only doing what his leaders have taught him - to shun women and their sexuality.

That quote from Spinal Tap - "... treading water in a sea of retarded sexuality..." leaps to mind.

Some LDS men can actually think for themselves.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

True, but ignoring a grievous violation of the honor code goes beyond thinking for yourself and begins to enter the realms of apostacy. This young man is a valiant soldier in the ongoing jihad against the western infidels...er I mean the ongoing war against satan. Those men who ignored this woman are enabled her poor judgment. I hope this young man gets a warm letter of congratulations from Boyd K Packer, or at least a mention in an upcoming talk, like that valiant missionary who was praised by Packer for punching the homo.

They tend not to go to BYU, though. Generally speaking.

We just wonder why he printed instead of actually wrote in cursive. It's the printing that makes him look juvenile, not the message.

Do they still teach cursive?
Even thirty years ago when when I was in college I printed. It was a lot more legible than my cursive.
I have 5 boys in their 20's. I have never seen any of them write in cursive.

I'm pretty sure most of the LDS men who think for themselves don't attend any campus of BYU.

They never sign a check? a credit card receipt? a tax form?

Harmony, I don't think I even CAN write in cursive anymore. I only use it for my signature. I learned cursive in grade school, and then never used it again. I don't know many people who use it, least of all men.

My mother has beautiful cursive handwriting, though.

Yes and in cursive but it is impossible to read even their signature. I really don't think cursive is used much any more and I am not even sure that they still teach it in elementary school.
