Yes and in cursive but it is impossible to read even their signature. I really don't think cursive is used much any more and I am not even sure that they still teach it in elementary school.

A sad state of affairs. My 7 year old grandson can print, and amazingly enough, his printing looks pretty close to the note.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

LOL!! Signing my name is the ONLY time I use cursive. I print everything, in CAPS no less. I don't think I even know how to do cursive anymore. If I tried, you'd have to put a rock in your hat to figure out what I wrote. LOL!!

I haven't written in cursive since I was a kid. My signature is the only time I use cursive and it is unreadable. I also have noticed my handwriting has degraded horribly in the last 10 years or so. I just don't write much since most of my communication and notes are done on electronic devices. When I do write, I rush myself because it is so much slower than typing it out, and it looks terrible.

Not many college students these days write in cursive. It's par for the course. Still it is looks like it was written with one of those huge kindergarten pencils.

This ^. American society as whole is trending this direction. I blame the schools for not teaching penmanship anymore. :D

It could simply be part of our earthly test on judgmentalism.

(Don't tell anyone on my blog, Facebook, or Twitter this, but I'm pretty confident the guy actually did this as a practical joke, since it was Valentine's day and it was presented as a love note, and so I think the handwriting was purposefully made to look like that. But I'm keeping this theory on the DL because I like the conversations going on.)

Yes, all those damn monolithic, shoebox-ready Mormons are hypocritical Pharisees.

If you think this was a joke simply because it's too ridiculous to be real, I wish I had time to explain the Great Uniboob controversy of BYU back in my day.

to put it very briefly, there was a brouhaha about young coeds wearing the strap of their purse between their breasts. Some righteous young men felt that this called to much attention to their breasts and diligently wrote as much to the paper.

the basic problem is that these young people are so sexually frustrated and so intent on repressing any sexual feelings or thoughts that it becomes obsessive.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
