One of the anonymous bloggers is a friend of mine. In my opinion, said billionaire is a bully.

Maybe. The problem for US politics is not so much that bullies are encountered from time to time (like the poor, they will always be with us), but that if you are a very rich bully, the way the law currently functions allows you to intimidate other people into silence even if you don't actually have a case that would stand up in court.
That needs some looking at. Might it be possible to draft laws that would require a complainant in the public sphere to pass a relatively high level of judicial review before any kind of legal action to silence a critic was permitted, including letters threatening legal action?

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

My TBM mother would be glad to hear that she has indirectly helped finance Romney's campaign. She has purchased a lot of product and contributed (lost) a lot of money over the years in VanderSloot's Melaleuca multi-level marketing scheme.

The species Melaleuca quinquenervia was introduced to Florida in the United States in the early 20th century to assist in drying out swampy land and as garden plants. Once widely planted in Florida, it formed dense thickets and displaced native vegetation on 391,000 acres of wet pine flatwoods, sawgrass marshes, and cypress swamps in the southern part of the state. It is prohibited by DEP and listed as a noxious weed by FDACS.

And somebody has to defend the boy scouts and church from persons who claim to be pedophile victims.

Money coming from small donors as of Dec 31 2011:
Obama: 47%
Romney: 9%
Updated through Jan 31 2012:
Obama: 47%
Romney: 10%
(Paul 47%)
(Gingrich 48%)
(Santorum 49%)
Of course in terms of total donors you must assume Obama has many more since (ignoring SuperPacs):
Obama: 136$ million (75 million on hand)
Romney: 62$ (7)
Paul:30$ (1.6)
Gingrich:18$ (1.7)
Santorum:6$ (1.4)

Are there any decent people named Vandersloot? I have now heard of two people with that name.
