Point well made, bot. Both political parties have a generation of leaders who did little in the way of military service.
I'm very curious about the "next wave", though, as we see what our current vets will do to influcence politics. 10 years have passed since our direct involvement in Afghanistan began, and a new generation of veterans are cueing up on both sides.
I hope for the better.
