God Purposefully Offends Skeptics John 6

John 6: 53
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Look at that skeptic! God commands you to cannibalize him. Run, run, run away and be gone. Shoo, shoo, ye backsliders who would make Christ king because ye ate the loaves and were filled.

Why does God purposefully taunt people to be offended?

John 6
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Now he is saying what if you were to see him sitting upon the right hand of the Power!
Man! He really wants to winnow out the chaff. The only ones who remained did so because of what was in their heart, not what was ringing in their ears.

After the 5000 ate the loaves and the fishes HE WAS THE MESSIAH OF THE JEWISH NATION
John 6
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
15 ¶ When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Why walk away from it......walking on the top of the water to the other side of the lake even... and then purposefully offend the lightweights who could be offended?

These skeptics just experienced the greatest miracle in recorded history, and they knew Christ then walked on top of the water to get to the other side of the lake, then, after all that, it was POSSIBLE for them to be offended!!!! Obviously the Lord knows his business.
That is why he did it. Because they COULD be offended after all that.

Skeptics today deserve to be offended and to scoff and blaspheme and fill themselves with anger and hatred of God unto their great condemnation. Everyman today sees more of the miracles of God than any generation ever did. And still they are offended. Get lost. No really. Beat it, scram, who needs ya?

Christ is not going for the outer man but the inner soul. He must do his work upon the hearts of the people not simply lead them like a celebrity.

And the whole lot of ya eat up all the tidbits of offense like grubby worms to poop out your bile and blather against the Most High. lol You have all been truly made.

Christ saw our day too. He set us up mightily knowing that there would be little if any faith found on earth when he comes again:

Luke 18
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Believers do not need to be made ashamed by the scoffing of the skeptic. These have been deliberately baited by God to be offended because they are lacking. If it is possible for man to see the depths of creation, and look upon the smallest of his handiwork, after having cataloged exhaustively all creatures God has made and still take offense; they deserve to be offended and that well and true and utterly to utmost degree. Now I begin to think that God indeed sent his servant, Charles Darwin, into the world that the world could be proven by his works and taken in their over-wise estimation of their ability to think critically.

Zion does not care about academia. Let the learned rage. Yes, we will take advantage of them and still ignore them. Thanks for the lights.
