You might recall that I was dragged into this thread with the charge that I defend pedophiles (which, of course, I have never done).
If you want to start a thread about Moksha's post in which you maintain that it amounted to such an accusation, start another thread or press the 'report' button and complain to the mods of a personal attack. I don't think anyone else here read it that way.
And that was no excuse in any case for using a nasty term such as 'diddling' for sexual molestation of minors. That revealed something unpleasant about your attitude to such matters.
Mods - please get rid of this stuff. You are welcome to dump my posts to Yahoo Bot together with his.

Let me be really clear here. I don't represent pedophiles. I represent institutions, such as private schools, which are accused of not taking swift enough action to prevent molesters from doing their evil deeds.
It may be a shock to many, but pedophiles are in every institution which deals with children -- hospitals, child care facilities, schools, churches, boy scouts, cub scouts, driver's training schools. Pedophiles (actually, a pedophile is one who molests a pre-pubescent child) and child molesters are in every walk of life.
Twenty years ago, government agencies tried to profile abusers -- homosexuals, never married, work with children. Psychologists have since recognized that abusers are in every walk of life and profession; every marital state.
So, it should come as no shock that there are abusers in the church -- home teachers, Sunday School teachers, and the like.
