This is something I wrote...*closes eyes and hits submit*

Renewal by just me

She reached in and turned the cool, metal knob to the left until a warm jet of water sprayed out of the shower head.

She stepped into the shower stall and shut the glass door until she heard it click gently. A smile played on her lips as steam licked at the glass walls, fogging them up. She moved under the spray of water and turned away from it to get her hair wet. She stroked her long hair until it was fully saturated; listening as the water cascaded down in thick ropes and hit the floor of the shower.

She turned back around and grabbed the bottle of shampoo. The scent of oranges and vanilla filled her nose as soon as she popped open the lid. She closed her eyes for a moment and inhaled deeply. With a contended sigh she squeezed a small amount of the shampoo into the palm of her hand. Once she had set the bottle back in its nook she slowly rubbed her palms together and ran them through her hair.

She let out a small moan as she gently massaged the shampoo into her hair building up a rich lather. Her fingertips rubbed circles into her scalp, behind her ears and down her neck. She hummed happily and turned around to rinse the suds from her hair. When the water ran clear she took down the bottle of conditioner and applied a generous amount to her tresses. She loved the way the slick stuff felt being rubbed into her hair.

She passed her hands under the spray of water and grabbed the facial cleanser. She squeezed a pea size amount onto her fingers and rubbed them together to spread the substance and then rubbed her fingers over her cheeks and nose and forehead. She felt the skin of her face tingle from the treatment. She held her breath and closed her eyes before putting her face in the spray of the water to rinse of the cleanser.

She pulled down the can of shaving cream and squirted a bit of the foam into her hand. Lifting her other arm high she dabbed the foam to her armpit, repeating on the other side. She swiped the razor under her arms with a practiced hand.

Razor still in hand, she picked up the shaving cream and sat down on the hard shower floor. The can belched out a long pfffffft as her hand filled with foam. She stretched her ivory legs out in front of her and rubbed the foam from ankle to the top of her thighs. She systematically rid her legs of the foam with care not to nick her kneecaps. She took a moment to slide her hands up and down her legs checking for any spots she may have missed. Satisfied with the results she hugged her legs to her chest before slowly standing up.

She returned the razor and shaving cream to their shelf and picked up the soft, white washcloth and spicy handmade soap. She felt color flood to her cheeks as she thought of the last time she had used the soap. A wicked grin spread across her face and she suppressed a giggle. She scrubbed the soap across the fibers of the cloth until it was full of frothy suds. She tilted her head back under the spray letting the conditioner rinse out as she lifted the washcloth to her neck. She massaged circles over her neck and shoulders working her way lower with each swipe. She massaged her breasts and under her arms. She scrubbed down across her ribs and firm, smooth stomach dipping in to her bellybutton. She folded the cloth in half and snaked it softly between her legs. She rinsed the cloth out and dropped it to the floor.

She twisted and turned under the spray watching as the bubbles slid down her skin to the drain below taking all her troubles them.

She wrapped herself in a towel and stepped out of the shower feeling renewed and ready to face the world.

Z, you amaze me more with every image you post. You do have talent! Love the composition.

I do this stuff for a living (illustration, not art).

This is the last watercolor I did. I was not real happy with it so I turned it into a license plate.

I love all of them! Thanks for sharing, you guys!

Quasi, are those for a manual or something? Oh, and maybe you can provide the visuals...I have yet to take up drawing.

Those are for a patent application and instructive illustrations for a new wrist joint prosthesis.

I'm happy to provide the visuals. Of course, you will need to pose for the illustrations. :D
