I found some great temple fashion design ideas!

Post by _zeezrom »

OK, so I was looking at the lovely Commuun.com and found some very nice ideas for temple garment alternatives! You will be amazed. Get ready.

The Masonic rituals require, at some point, that you roll up one of your pant leggings. This is depicted in the following image:

Similarly, the modern temple garment bottom has a horizontal bar sewn on the right knee.

My proposition is to replace the little symbol on the undergarment with a rectangular section of cloth, which is visible to the public.

Please refer to the Commuun Summer 2012 Lookbook photo on the following site:

Alternatively, we have #09

#15 is also a good alternative:

And of course, number 5 is the most subtle:

What better way is there to celebrate our Mormon religious beliefs than by an outward expression through elegant design?

I don't think that is what he means at all. He probably means:

No, as in no, that burns my eyes.
No, as in no, you didn't.

Looking through those images made me think that asymmetry is hard to pull off in fashion design.

I think we are already getting used to asymmetry on the top. The question remains: how hard will it be to pull off asymmetry on the bottm.

Zee,

No one is looking at the asymmetry in those pictures. :)

That's because asymmetry is an aspect that we aren't focusing on when considering the overall presentation.

I believe Fence Sitter was pointing out that asymmetry on the bottom half would be much more interesting if/when the women are walking away from you.
