Other than the creepiness that is this thread...
The inside of the mag has a little box that explains temple weddings and Temple Recommends. LMAO
Adorable couple look sooo young.

She's wearing a black swim suit and a black swim suit coverup.
And there is no way of knowing what the dress she wore in the sealing looked like. My daughter's wedding dress had short sleeves and a low neck. The temple added slip on sleeves and a bit of lace for the neckline. And Elizabeth may have had 2 dresses.
I'm glad she's happy. I feel kinda sorry for the guy, since he's got to live with idiots snooping in their lives for the rest of his life, but I'm sure he thinks she's worth it.

(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Plus, you know that athletic activities, swimming and modeling for celebrity-gossip magazines are exempt from the requirement to always wear them.
(Actually, they probably Photoshopped the cover, and the black outfit is likely a swimsuit cover.)
But why don't they show the kilt?
They did show the kilt, surprisingly.
Edit to add, I am surprised they allowed him to wear a kilt for the photos on the temple grounds. I wonder if he wore it like it was intended? Sans undies or his case no bottom garmies?

I agree. I think some people can be fairly happy in the church as long as they don't take it too seriously.
Depends on others around you.
If you are surrounded by other like minded cafeteria Mormons, it can work. It is awful if you are surrounded by typical TBMs though, especially for the woman; where image of not just her, but her children, home, and hubby are paramount.

I don't take the Church etc too seriously.
Sadly, the Church and my TBM family members take my unseriousness very seriously indeed.

That tie he's wearing is atrocious. I notice they're buying food. That's good because my wife and I forgot all about eating on our honeymoon for two days before we remembered we were hungry.

Bc, do you have a sense of the doctrinal (or even conventional wisdom) stand the Church would take concerning the kilt the groom is wearing?
